Job Summary
Executive Director of Auxiliary Services responsible for the strategic leadership and day-to-day oversight of campus revenue-generating auxiliary units (campus dining, parking and transportation, bookstore, and retail operations) to support student life and academic activities while optimizing revenue and operating margins. Oversees budgeting, dashboard reporting, procurement and contracting, and capital investment projects; identifies sustainable revenue opportunities; provides financial analysis to improve revenue and operating margins; communicates financial information clearly to non-technical stakeholders; ensures compliance with GAAP; mentors and collaborates with the CFO and management team; and partners with students, faculty, and staff to advance student retention and success through high-quality auxiliary services.
Required Qualifications
- Five to ten years of experience directly managing complex, high-volume enterprises with demonstrated successful outcomes
- Experience with higher education environments
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Master’s degree preferred
- Experience consulting and advising senior-level executives
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
