Job Summary
Executive Director role leading Generational Care, a mission-driven nonprofit serving older adults and families across Southeast and South Central Washington. Responsible for strategic, operational, and financial leadership; serves as the primary liaison between the Board, leadership team, and community stakeholders; fosters collaboration, strong culture, and partnership development; manages a large organization with unionized environment considerations and program oversight including home care, meals on wheels, and healthy aging services. Requires relationship-driven leadership, humility, curiosity, and trust, with a focus on mission impact, governance, fundraising support, and strategic execution. Eligible for health/dental/vision benefits, 401(k) with match, PSLF-eligible status, and comprehensive leave and car-use provisions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in administration, finance, leadership, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of executive leadership experience
- Proven experience leading teams and managing organizational operations
- Strong financial and budget management experience
- Experience working with a Board of Directors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to build trust across all levels of an organization
- Strategic thinking combined with practical execution
- Emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and strong decision-making skills
