Job Summary
Executive Director responsible for the overall experience and financial health of a Canton, MI-based senior assisted living and memory care community. Leads culture, reinforces servant leadership, and ensures safety, belonging, and peace of mind for residents and families. Oversees operations, hiring, training, performance management, regulatory compliance, and collaboration with sales partners to drive occupancy and high-quality service. Manages resident forums, daily stand-ups, and cross-functional coordination to address resident concerns and maintain compliance with state and federal requirements. Some travel may be required; may involve licensure-related activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, Health Care, Gerontology, or equivalent experience
- Fulfillment of any necessary state-specific certification for Licensed Assisted Living or equivalent
- Understanding of federal and state laws related to operations of a Senior Assisted Living Community
- Passion for leading and developing people and promoting excellent service delivery
- Exceptional hospitality skills with sensitivity to aging adults and their families
- Ability to form meaningful relationships with residents, team members, and families
- Effective communication, both verbal and written
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
