Job Summary
Executive Director responsible for the efficient operations and overall management of a RCFE community in Bakersfield, CA. Oversees day-to-day functions, hires and supervises staff, monitors performance, and ensures budgeted occupancy and budgetary compliance while representing the property to residents, families, the Corporation, and regulatory bodies. Requires two years of college and at least three years of experience in residential elderly care, plus CA RCFE Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director. Proficiency with MS Office, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to manage budgets, analyze financial reports, and respond to problems. Must pass criminal background and health screenings; adherence to vaccination and PPE protocols may be required. Required Qualifications
- Completion of two (2) years of college
- at least three (3) years of experience providing residential care to the elderly (or equivalent education and experience)
- A valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly Certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director
- Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- Ability to supervise staff and manage budgets and financial reports/statements
- Ability to work with seniors and cognitively impaired individuals
- Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests required
- Vaccination/health protocols per regulatory guidelines (PPE, daily screening, etc.) per regulatory guidelines
