Job Summary
Executive Director in Card Credit Risk Management - Installments leads the risk policy strategy and decision framework for Chase installment programs within Consumer and Community Banking. Owns end-to-end risk policy, eligibility rules, and segmentation; drives strategic analytics on program performance; partners with product, design, technology, finance, and business teams to translate risk strategies into scalable features; monitors results and governance; mentors analysts to elevate technical rigor and business judgment; contributes to JPMorganChase risk culture through leadership and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience solving complex problems at scale in credit risk management or related fields
- Experience leading teams with direct reports including coaching and talent development
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders with concise written and verbal communications
- Strong ability to anticipate risks and issues and escalate when needed
- Understanding of consumer finance P&L and how risk decisions affect financial outcomes
- Experience developing and governing credit decision frameworks including segmentation and eligibility strategies
- Ability to partner across product, technology, finance, and business teams to deploy solutions into production
- Strong analytical mindset translating data into actionable policy and business recommendations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office for analysis and executive-ready communication
- Working proficiency in SQL to extract and analyze large datasets
- Experience using SAS and/or Tableau for analysis and monitoring
