Job Summary
Executive Director of IDD Services responsible for overall leadership, regulatory compliance, financial management, workforce development, and expansion of community-based IDD services in the Albuquerque region. Lead operations, foster partnerships with local, state, and government agencies, oversee licensing and reporting requirements, pursue grant and funding opportunities, lead local fundraising initiatives, promote a positive public image, and drive strategic growth and program quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 5+ years of leadership experience in administrative and supervisory roles (Master’s Degree preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record
- Strong commitment to community-based services for individuals with disabilities
- Knowledge of funding sources and entitlement programs for individuals with disabilities
- Confident public speaker with experience presenting at events, conferences, or on social platforms
- Team-oriented leader with demonstrated success in staff development and team leadership
- Employment contingent upon successful completion of background checks, registry checks, and drug screening
