Job Summary
Manage, direct, and administer the organization in accordance with company policies, standards of practice for home health care administrators, and government regulations. Comply with personnel, safety, and corporate policies while treating residents, family members, visitors, and team members with respect and dignity. Maintain confidentiality of all resident and family information, review and monitor compliance with policies pertaining to total patient care, personnel, medical staff, financial status, public relations, and building maintenance. Evaluate and monitor job descriptions and policy manuals, conduct recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and orientation for open positions, and meet with department heads regularly. Conduct in-service and supervisory training meetings, review workforce competence, check financial status, maintain an efficient accounting system, prepare annual budgets, assist with staffing and disciplinary issues, and monitor compliance to residents' rights. Ensure compliance with all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, hazardous materials, and fire safety. Work beyond normal hours, weekends, and holidays when necessary, and assist in resident evacuations during emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a state issued Operator's License.
- Must be proficient with computer skills.
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
- Must be able to work beyond normal working hours and on weekends and holidays when necessary.
- Must be able to assist in the evacuation of residents during emergency situations.
- Must be able to perform the essential position functions of the job with, or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to relate to and work with the ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset, and, at times, hostile people within the Community.
- Must be able to see and hear or use prosthetics that will enable these senses to function adequately to ensure that the requirements of this position can be fully met.
