Job Summary
Executive Director, Global Communications for the makeup portfolio at Estée Lauder Companies. Lead the development and execution of a cohesive global communications strategy for makeup brands such as M·A·C and Bobbi Brown, elevate brand storytelling, and drive global awareness while protecting and enhancing reputations. Manage a high-performing team to secure impactful media coverage, oversee executive positioning for high-profile interviews, lead philanthropic initiatives, and guide cross-functional partnerships. Responsible for budget management, media relations, and overseeing the portfolio’s narrative across global markets. Requires 12-15+ years in PR/communications, strong leadership, a robust network within US beauty press, English fluency (additional language a plus), and a Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred).
Required Qualifications
- 12-15+ years of related public relations/communications experience
- Proven experience leading and coaching a team
- Extensive network of senior-level relationships within the US beauty, lifestyle, and business press
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful, large-scale communications strategies
- Exceptional leadership, strategic thinking, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in an additional language is a plus
