Job Summary
Executive Director leading a Victory Housing community: oversee day-to-day management, ensure compliance with federal/state/local standards, drive resident and staff well-being, manage marketing and occupancy, maintain CRM-driven prospecting and move-ins, supervise weekend/on-call coverage, and ensure financial performance and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include planning and directing programs, community outreach, tours and engagements, volunteer coordination, external relations, policy adherence, budgeting, vendor management, and fulfilling HUD/COMAR regulatory requirements. Requires strong leadership, healthcare/administration background, and proven management experience in assisted living or nursing communities; bachelor’s degree (with master’s preferred) and relevant certifications/vaccinations are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Administration or Health Care Administration (required)
- Master’s Degree in Business Administration or Health Care Administration (preferred)
- Minimum three (3) years successful management experience in the operations of an assisted living or nursing community
- Be current on all vaccinations including COVID-19 and CDC-recommended booster doses
- COMAR 10.07.14 qualifications (minimum): 21 years old or older; high school diploma or equivalent; either a 4-year college degree or relevant healthcare/managerial experience; specific alternate experience pathways listed (2 years healthcare-related field + 1 year as an assisted living manager; or 2 years healthcare-related field + completion of 80-hour assisted living manager training)
