Job Summary
Executive Director for a senior living community in Grand Rapids, MI, responsible for overall leadership, management, and operation of the community to ensure high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee engagement, and resident/family satisfaction. Leads strategic direction, ensures compliance with regulations, maintains a safe resident-centered environment, oversees budgeting and occupancy goals, recruits and develops staff, builds relationships with residents, families, healthcare providers, and community partners, and represents the community in professional organizations. Requires strong leadership, strategic planning, regulatory knowledge, financial acumen, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)."
Required Qualifications
- High-School diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration or a related field highly preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of leadership experience in senior living, assisted living, memory care, skilled nursing, or healthcare operations.
- Demonstrated success in financial management and budget oversight.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
