Job Summary

Executive Director responsible for pre-operations and opening of a new senior living community (The Reserve Sarasota) in Maryland market, overseeing pre-opening leadership, sales/marketing, staffing, budgets, and regulatory readiness; lead day-to-day operations with full P&L responsibility, ensuring regulatory compliance and high resident/family/team satisfaction; collaborate with Director of Sales and other leaders to drive occupancy, revenue, and quality of services; manage recruitment, onboarding, and leadership development, implement labor and budget strategies, and coordinate with Health & Wellness, Memory Care, Life Enrichment, Culinary, and Maintenance teams; guide care planning, ensure appropriate levels of care, oversee training (including dementia training), and support community culture and HR processes; support a strong, hospitality-centered operations through budgeting, performance management, and ongoing leadership presence, including ensuring Manager on Duty coverage seven days per week and driving community engagement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related subject is required
  • Required certification for Residential Care Facilities based on state regulations
  • Experience with opening a new development Senior Living community
  • Three to five years of experience in operations management with demonstrated success in meeting financial and sales goals
