Job Summary
Lead complex, sensitive employee relations investigations involving allegations of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and workplace conduct violations. Develop investigation plans, conduct interviews, assess evidence, and prepare detailed documentation including findings and resolution recommendations. Manage high-volume caseloads while partnering with HR Business Partners, Employment Law, and business stakeholders to ensure consistent outcomes and appropriate escalations. Analyze case trends to identify risk themes and drive targeted interventions or process improvements. Requires sound judgment, discretion, and strong communication skills to handle confidential matters effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8+ years of relevant experience in employee relations, workplace investigations, employment law, human resources, or a related field
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong verbal communication and interviewing skills
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple investigations, deadlines, and stakeholder expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated professionalism, discretion, patience, tact, and respect when handling sensitive and confidential matters
- Collaborative and consultative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships across HR, Legal, business management, and other internal partners
- Knowledge of applicable employment laws, HR policies, investigation practices, and employee relations risk considerations
Desired Qualifications
- J.D. or employment law experience
- Experience handling complex investigations in a large, matrixed organization
