Job Summary
Devise and implement the strategy and direction for the Boston market's unified health and $6M revenue efforts, assuming bottom-line responsibility for income and community health impact goals. Guide and direct the team to achieve key performance indicators while hiring, training, and evaluating staff to drive aggressive growth in unrestricted revenue. Develop and manage a volunteer Board of Directors, build powerful partnerships with corporate leaders and stakeholders, and create profiles of top market businesses to secure engagement. Meet with assigned staff to review programs and recommend changes that enhance efficiency and effectiveness. This office-based role in Wellesley, MA, requires approximately 75% travel within the assigned territory and reports to the leadership team to help propel the division toward ambitious goals for campaign revenue and mission impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 years of relevant experience
- 6 years of managerial experience
- Direct knowledge of special event fundraising tactics
- Ability to travel throughout the Delaware territory approximately 75%
- Requires reliable transportation at all times on an immediate basis
Desired Qualifications
- Public health experience
- Solid understanding of how to engage and work with philanthropic communities
- Ideally with a sales or fundraising team in a similar organization
