Job Summary
Executive Director on the Consumer Branded Card Acquisitions Risk team defines and refines credit criteria across channels to support growth objectives while monitoring delinquency and loss within risk appetite. Responsibilities include assessing expected losses and profitability, tracking approval rates and credit quality, briefing senior leaders, partnering with Product/Marketing/Finance, evaluating new products and channels, designing risk guardrails, maintaining documentation for audits, and leading a high-performing, inclusive team. Key skills include credit-risk management, data-driven decision making, stakeholder management, and strong communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of credit risk management experience
- Strong understanding of consumer lending profit and loss and key drivers of credit card loss and profitability
- Proven track record in product collaboration, risk analytics, and stakeholder management
- Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with experience engaging senior leaders and external partners
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams
- Experience with audit processes and maintaining strong documentation and controls
