Job Summary
Executive Director, Companion Animal Global Marketing portfolio lead responsible for global brand, category, and portfolio strategy across markets, driving launch strategies and cross-portfolio value. Leads the CA Therapeutics portfolio, shaping marketing strategy, messaging, and campaigns to maximize extended product value. Directs portfolio planning, customer insights, and regional execution in collaboration with R&D and regional leaders; manages a core team of three marketing experts with global influence, and partners with senior stakeholders to align with division initiatives. Requires senior-level leadership, extensive global marketing experience, and ability to drive growth across multiple geographies; travel up to 35% and hybrid work arrangement. The role is based in Rahway, NJ, with global scope and matrix organization collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Minimum 15 years of broad work experience in marketing, product management, leadership, and related sales support activities
- Strong life sciences, veterinary medicine, animal science, or medical marketing experience
- Proven track record of inspirational and transformational leadership
- Experience leading global product launches and portfolio management
- Ability to navigate international matrix organizations and work across multiple time zones
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Ability to travel up to 35% (Europe, Asia, South America)
- Capability to develop segmentation, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
- Experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets
- Strong stakeholder collaboration across regions and markets
- Ability to influence strategic direction and drive cross-portfolio value
- Bachelor’s in marketing/product management or business strategy; MBA/advanced degree preferred
- Experience in animal health or related industry marketing and operations
- Talent development and leadership of a high-performing team
