Job Summary
Executive Director, Commercial Insights & Analytics (Ophthalmology) leads Regeneron’s Ophthalmology I&A team to deliver analytics, customer insights, and competitive intelligence that inform strategic decisions for the Ophthalmology Commercial Business Unit. The role sets the strategic I&A direction aligned with CBU priorities, mentors the I&A team, collaborates with senior leadership across the CSI&A and Ophthalmology teams, translates complex analyses into actionable recommendations for senior leaders including the CBU, Chief Commercial Officer, CEO and Board of Directors, and drives adoption of capabilities such as marketing mix, promotional optimization, data science, and ML/AI methodologies. The position requires building partnerships with stakeholders, delivering integrated business reviews, managing vendor relationships, and leading cross-functional initiatives to support brand differentiation and market growth. Strong emphasis on leadership, communication, cross-functional collaboration, data storytelling, and the ability to influence and execute large-scale initiatives with tight deadlines. Ophthalmology disease area experience is highly desired and on-site presence is noted for Sleepy Hollow, NY or Warren, NJ with hybrid work expectations.
Required Qualifications
- 20+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech commercial experience in roles of increasing accountability
- Minimum Bachelor's degree in data science, public health, statistics, engineering, or a related field (MBA, MPH, MS preferred)
- Functional expertise in business analytics, customer insights, analog forecast development, market access, and competitive intelligence
- Prior experience managing I&A groups with responsibility for analytics, customer insights, market access analytics, and competitive intelligence
- Demonstrated knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to commercialization in the pharmaceutical/biotechnology industry
- Knowledge of data industry standards
- Proven ability to influence, communicate and negotiate with all levels of management across functional and business unit boundaries
- Extensive experience with managing numerous projects concurrently against stringent deadlines
- Ophthalmology disease category experience is strongly desired
