Job Summary

Lead strategic, scientific, and operational oversight for infectious disease and vaccine development programs across multiple stages. Prioritize portfolio delivery, align resources, and drive key milestones by partnering with therapeutic area heads and cross-functional partners in Clinical Operations, Regulatory Affairs, and Medical Affairs. Establish high standards for scientific rigor, study oversight, and regulatory readiness while championing the adoption of AI, advanced analytics, and digital capabilities to enhance decision-making and efficiency. Develop a high-performing organization through talent planning, succession management, and coaching to build future leaders capable of executing complex development strategies.

Required Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific or healthcare degree (PhD, PharmD)
  • At least 10 years of drug development experience
  • Experience in infectious diseases and/or vaccine development

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting regulatory submissions, health authority interactions, and late-stage development activities
  • Proven leadership experience managing in large, matrixed organizations through multiple levels of management
  • Demonstrated success developing talent, building leadership capability, and creating high-performing teams
  • Familiarity with, or interest in emerging AI, advanced analytics, and digital capabilities applicable to clinical development
  • Experience in infectious diseases and/or vaccine development
