Job Summary
Design and conduct early-stage or late-stage clinical development trials, including assessing clinical safety and efficacy data and performing medical monitoring. Lead Clinical Study Teams in a matrix environment while collaborating with biomarker, discovery, and translational research scientists to advance Oncology pipeline therapies. Interpret reports, prepare oral and written results, and establish strong relationships with external study investigators and key opinion leaders. Work closely with functional partners to ensure integrated execution of study protocols and address Health Authority inquiries. Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for multiple clinical development studies, requiring minimum 3 days of onsite presence in California or New Jersey.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10+ years of clinical experience
- MD or DO degree
- Significant experience in Oncology
- Significant experience in clinical practice with direct patient care
- Proven track record in leading clinical trials
- Experience in medical monitoring of early and late clinical trials
- Experience managing complex projects
- In-depth knowledge of clinical research methodologies
- Knowledge of GCP
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a matrixed environment
