Job Summary
Executive Director: Client Data - Asset Management role within J.P. Morgan Asset & Wealth Management focused on leading the Global Client Data team to deliver robust data governance, data operations, and data solutions across client functions. The role emphasizes overseeing data operating models, driving data quality and governance, managing data-related projects end-to-end in an agile environment, and building stakeholder engagement across global teams. Key responsibilities include governing data operating models, exception resolution with data custodians, driving continuous process improvement, enabling data as an asset for the AM Client organization, implementing data modernization and integrity initiatives, and coordinating with technology partners and product owners. Required qualifications include experience in data management, data governance, CRM platforms (Salesforce.com), product owner and Agile certifications, strong communication and people-management capabilities, and knowledge of asset management products (investment management, mutual funds, managed accounts, and/or separate accounts). Preferred qualifications highlight leadership, storytelling, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to quickly learn the business and adapt to changing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- Relevant industry experience inclusive of data operating model management
- Strong academic background with established analytical, programming and technical skills (Certifications in Data Management & Data warehouse domain)
- Experience of data management and data governance constructs inclusive of data quality, data integration and data classification capabilities
- Strong experience in key areas of data management including data architecture, data quality, data security
- Experience working with an industry recognized CRM platform (Salesforce.com)
- Project Management Background, Product Owner Certifications and AGILE Certifications
- Strong Microsoft office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal) with strong interpersonal skills
- Experienced people manager adept at working in matrix organization and managing dynamic high performance teams
- Understanding of Asset Management business (Investment Management, Mutual Funds, Managed Accounts, and/or Separate Accounts)
- A passion for technology, financial services and asset management.
