Job Summary
Lead the Pet Sustainability Coalition as chief strategist, ambassador, and organizational leader to convene competitors and accelerate environmental and business impact. Build trust with members, partners, staff, and the Board while evaluating programs for relevance and financial sustainability. Expand strategic partnerships across industry, NGOs, academia, and government to position PSC as the leading sustainability authority. Develop a three-year strategy focused on measurable industry transformation and organizational resilience, driving membership growth and revenue diversification through mission-aligned funding. Increase visibility through executive thought leadership and speaking engagements. Partner closely with the Board while empowering staff to execute with excellence.
Required Qualifications
- Senior executive leadership experience in sustainability within consumer products, retail, manufacturing, or related sectors
- Experience leading organizations through growth and change
- Board governance experience
- Outstanding communication and public speaking skills
- Track record of building strategic partnerships
Desired Qualifications
- Pet industry experience preferred
