Job Summary
Lead and manage reinsurance deal opportunities from origination through closure with high-quality proposal development and quotations; serve as primary client contact for business development initiatives; collaborate with Pricing, Structured & Financial Solutions, Underwriting, and Product Development to deliver integrated reinsurance solutions; provide market feedback to inform business development strategies and product development; support the Head of Business Development in strategic planning and decision-making while focusing on execution of initiatives; represent the company in designated external interactions to promote capabilities and solutions, particularly in Hong Kong and High Net Worth markets.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Actuary
- 10+ years experience in a business development/sales relationship role
- Excellent understanding of Life and Financial Risk industry
- Understanding of the key business drivers for success in the market
- Ability to identify reinsurance opportunities and coordinate resources
- Proven negotiation and advisory skills
- Credibility and visibility as an ambassador for RGA’s market positioning
- Knowledge of insurance product profitability and premium rate setting
- Strategic agility
- Positive and innovative approach to overcoming obstacles
- Ability to build an effective network of advocates in the industry
- Strong team player with exceptional relationship management skills
