Job Summary
Operate the assisted living and memory care community efficiently, supervising management teams and line staff while managing the budget, human resources, marketing, and public relations. Ensure thorough leadership that meets state and federal regulations regarding resident care, maintains licensure requirements, and prepares financial and statistical reports. Develop programs for residents and families, maintain positive relationships with agencies and vendors, and oversee daily meal service coverage. Respond to emergencies on a 24-hour call rotation and travel overnight as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum of two years' experience in a long-term care setting as an administrator
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong financial management
- Communication
- Organization
- Team-building experience
- Working knowledge of personal computers, scanners, digital copiers and printers
- Experience in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook
- Ability to work with accounting and management software
- Excellent decision making abilities regarding financial and budget issues, marketing, and people development
- Knowledge of the policies and procedures of MSDS sheets on hazardous materials
- Ability to train staff and residents in fire safety and emergency preparedness
- Demonstrates a SERVANT heart and attitude by following our Mission Statement
- Licensed Nursing Home or Assisted Living Administrator
- Light physical effort with occasional lifting of 10 – 20 pounds
- Mobility to physically assess the upkeep of the building and grounds
- Overnight travel via automobile and/or airlines to other locations as required
- Being on call 24 hours a day and responding to emergencies in a timely manner
