Job Summary
Oversee total branch operations including membership, marketing, programs, facilities, volunteer and staff development, financial development, and community relations. Align staff and volunteers to the strategic plan, establish annual operating plans with goals and timelines, and manage daily facility activities to ensure smooth program execution. Direct financial development by achieving fundraising goals, supporting donor acquisition, stewardship, and major gift cultivation to meet capital and endowment needs. Manage the branch budget, develop long-range capital plans, and oversee hiring, training, and evaluation of staff while maintaining appropriate cash balances and reserves. Represent the YMCA in the local community, foster collaborative relationships with agencies, and serve as staff officer to the Board of Managers to ensure effective governance and strategic implementation.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services, social services, business or equivalent
- Six or more years of management experience
- Experience in management and development of volunteer involvement
- Ability to recruit top community leaders
- YMCA Multi-Team or Branch Leader certification preferred
