Job Summary

Administer end-to-end equity compensation programs, managing grant processing, vesting events, distributions, and participant transactions while ensuring regulatory and SOX compliance. Analyze and model executive compensation strategies to support Board of Directors and senior leadership decision-making, preparing reports, presentations, and Section 16 filings. Maintain data integrity across equity share pools and collaborate with Legal, Finance, and HR on governance, tax, and disclosure activities. Manage relationships with external vendors and the Fidelity equity administration platform. This hybrid role in Durham requires three days in-office weekly and offers a salary range of $105,000-$125,000.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience administering a variety of equity compensation programs across multiple jurisdictions
  • Experience supporting executive compensation disclosures and regulatory filings, including proxy statement disclosures and Section 16 reporting
  • Working knowledge of U.S. and international tax considerations related to executive and equity compensation
  • Strong commitment to confidentiality, data privacy, and compliance, including GDPR requirements
  • Experience supporting processes, systems, and controls in a SOX-compliant environment
  • Demonstration of a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to interact with employees and executives at all levels
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • 5+ years of relevant compensation experience including executive compensation and equity administration
  • Regular and consistent attendance
  • This is a hybrid role with the expectation to work within our Durham headquarters 3 days each week

Desired Qualifications

  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP), preferred
  • Certified Equity Professional (CEP) designation (Level 2 or 3), preferred
