Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily Food & Beverage services, supervising staff to ensure positive customer experiences and compliance with tribal, state, and federal gaming regulations. Implement strategic plans by recruiting, training, and evaluating kitchen personnel while managing budgets to achieve departmental financial objectives. Create menus for restaurants, room service, and banquets; develop recipes; and coordinate vendor purchases to maintain product quality. Conduct kitchen evaluations, monitor dish preparation standards, and ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and cleanliness protocols. Represent the organization externally to maintain community reputation while maintaining confidentiality of all departmental records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Seven (7) years of progressive culinary experience
- Four (4) years of management experience in a restaurant or culinary environment
- Valid driver's license
- Must be able to successfully pass a background screening / investigation
- Tribal and Native American preference shall apply to all positions
- Food Handler's certification
- ServSafe certification
- TIPS certification
- Valid driver's license and qualify for insurance coverage under the company's fleet management policy, when applicable
- Must obtain and maintain Food Handler's, ServSafe, and TIPS certifications
- Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and qualify for insurance coverage under the company's fleet management policy, when applicable
- Background Investigation Requirements: Pre-employment drug screen
- Background Investigation Requirements: Personal reference check and employment verification
- Background Investigation Requirements: Federal, State, and/or tribal criminal history backgrounds will be conducted
- Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds
- Evening and/or weekend work may be required
- Travel may be required for training, meetings, conferences, presentations, and other events
