Job Summary

Executive Chef at Jack & Harry’s leads culinary operations to translate our New Orleans-inspired steakhouse vision into tangible dining experiences. The role guides menu execution, drives operational performance, mentors emerging leaders, and cultivates a kitchen culture defined by teamwork, consistency, and pride. You will oversee kitchen operations, ensure adherence to food safety and Vandelay serving standards, manage budgets and costs, recruit and train culinary staff, participate in weekly manager meetings, and collaborate with the General Manager to maintain high-quality guest experiences. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED with a Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred, 2+ years of executive chef experience in a full-service restaurant, flexible scheduling, strong communication skills, and a commitment to hospitality excellence.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Culinary / Restaurant / Hospitality Management or similar field of study strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of full service restaurant Executive Chef experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • Trustworthy, detail-obsessed and open to constructive feedback
  • Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal
