Job Summary
Executive Chef responsible for overall daily kitchen operations across banquets, room service, restaurants, bar/lounge, and employee cafeteria; leads kitchen management team, provides direction for day-to-day operations, and ensures sanitation and food standards while maximizing financial performance. Oversees all food preparation areas, develops and communicates goals, monitors safety and brand standards, and drives staff development and guest satisfaction; collaborates with management to control costs and manage purchasing, budgeting, and quality of service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED; 6 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or related major; 4 years experience in the culinary, food and beverage, or related professional area.
