Job Summary
Executive Chef at bartaco leads the kitchen to uphold bartaco’s culinary standards and guest-focused service, guiding the team to deliver high-quality dishes with operational excellence. You will supervise daily kitchen operations, ensure consistency across all dishes, manage inventory and AVT analysis, enforce health and safety policies, partner with the General Manager to optimize kitchen performance, recruit and develop a high-performing team, and drive budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and revenue growth while maintaining a guest-obsessed, hospitality-driven culture.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of restaurant experience as an Executive Chef
- A passion for hospitality and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest experiences
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills
- Experience mentoring and training hourly team members
- Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Bring an energetic hustle and positive attitude
- Able to tolerate long periods standing
- Able to lift and move objects up to 50 pounds
