Job Summary
Oversee kitchen operations across restaurant dining, ancillary pub and coffee shop, and in-house catered events; supervise and develop kitchen staff, participate in staff training and performance appraisals; ensure high-quality food preparation, taste, texture, and presentation; maintain sanitation and safety per health guidelines; manage inventory and ordering for all outlets; plan and execute specialty events (e.g., brunches, holiday meals, resident-choice menus); create and implement menus; recruit, interview, and train new staff; ensure compliance with state and federal regulations; coordinate with corporate staff on culinary needs; lead the team to uphold cleanliness, safety, and professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university; or 5 or 6 years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and training
- Post-secondary training with Certificate of Completion from accredited culinary program preferred
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
