Job Summary

Lead all kitchen operations, including culinary execution, team leadership, and financial performance, while maintaining food quality, safety, and sanitation standards. Execute daily audits, manage inventory, oversee repairs, and enforce adherence to schedules, par lists, and opening/closing procedures. Develop hourly staff through evaluations, sourcing, and hiring; conduct quarterly management reviews and track improvement in service levels. Build a culture of excellence by confronting poor performance, rewarding good work, and implementing efficient systems across departments. Participate in PR, marketing, and sales efforts to maximize efficiency and productivity while holding department managers accountable for budgets.

Required Qualifications

  • at least five years of progressive culinary leadership experience
  • preferably in an upscale or fine dining environment
  • Experience with restaurant openings and banquet operations
  • Graduation from an accredited culinary school
  • ability to communicate in both English and Spanish
  • ServSafe® Manager Certification
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Must have thorough understanding of Arizona labor and hiring laws
  • Must follow in-house safety program and conduct monthly in-house health inspections
  • Must adhere to corporate kitchen cleanliness standards, ordering/receiving standards, and shelf-life guidelines
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Executive Chef experience within a high-volume fine dining restaurant and/or hotel environment
  • Minimum of 12+ years cooking experience
  • ServeSafe Certified
  • Ability to work on your feet for extended hours
  • Must be available to work irregular hours, shifts, weekends, special events, weekends and holidays
