Job Summary
Pick up VIP executives at hotels or homes without delay, open doors for passengers, and ensure their comfort throughout the journey. Load and unload personal belongings, operate the vehicle safely within parameters, and accurately detail all stops and service changes in a timely report. Maintain a clean vehicle with necessary supplies, use Hagstron/Thomas Guide maps rather than navigation systems, and provide a personable yet discreet atmosphere. Must possess a Chauffeur E license, NYC TLC license, and a clean driving record. Willingness to lift up to 75 lbs and remain stationary for extended periods is required.
Required Qualifications
- Chauffeur E license
- NYC TLC License
- Driver's License
- Clean Driving record
- Pass background/drug test
- Ability to read, write and speak clearly
- Capability to operate and handle company-owned vehicle within parameters needed to provide a safe experience for passengers, themselves, the vehicle, and others
- Must be willing and physically fit to be able to lift and move baggage (up to 75 lbs)
- Must be able to remain stationary (sitting) for long, extended periods of time
Desired Qualifications
- 3 years minimum experience in the industry
- CDL is a plus
- Knowledgeable of Tri-State area including JFK, LGA, EWR and the ability to navigate these areas with minor gps dependency
- Strong work ethic and business environment appearance
- Ability to operate electronic devices and applications
- Ability to conduct himself/herself in a courteous and businesslike manner at all times
- Must use Hagstron/Thomas Guide maps and not rely on mapquest/navigation systems
- Keep vehicle clean at all times, have newspaper/water for clients, and keep minimal amount of supplies on front seat
- Provide a personable but discreet atmosphere for all passengers
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors
