Job Summary
Draft press releases, Q&As, and strategic communications materials in Japanese and English while curating media lists tailored to the Tokyo landscape. Leverage in-house AI tools to manage workload and ensure high-quality deliverables for M&A, crisis, and corporate positioning engagements. Act as the team's "eyes and ears" in the local market by identifying stakeholder opportunities and sharing insights with clients and peers. Contribute to pitch preparation and account development using strategic and tactical judgment. Requires 1–3 years of experience in corporate communications or public affairs, with bilingual skills (Japanese/English) and knowledge of Japanese policy and capital markets. Full-time role in the Tokyo office with an annual discretionary bonus and comprehensive benefits including 25 days of annual leave.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
- 1–3 years of relevant work experience
- Corporate communications, public affairs or agency experience
- Keen interest in Japanese policy, business, capital markets, and other issues impacting multinational and Japanese companies
