Job Summary
Executive Assistant to support leaders of visual desks at The New York Times. Responsibilities include managing calendars, vetting and prioritizing meeting requests, coordinating meetings and travel bookings, handling inquiries and referrals, collaborating with recruitment on interview scheduling, maintaining confidentiality, processing expenses for reimbursement, planning events (town halls, meals, social gatherings), acting as a liaison with internal/external contacts, preparing editors for internal meetings, creating clear and well-designed presentations, tracking priorities, and supporting editors while upholding the newsroom's journalistic independence; in-office role based in New York with four in-office days per week (Mon–Thu) subject to editors' schedules and business needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent years of professional experience
- 3+ years of industry experience providing administrative support for a senior executive
