Job Summary
Executive Assistant provides confidential administrative support to the Department Head and Administrative Manager, coordinates the Head’s calendar and high‐priority requests, supports end‐to‐end committee work (including ARPT, annual faculty reviews, division reviews, and tenure processes), organizes staff events, handles travel arrangements, prepares agendas and documentation, drafts correspondence and reports, manages budgets and financial processing, and coordinates meetings (virtual, hybrid, and in‐person) across multiple sites. The role requires thorough knowledge of department and university policies, professional communication, calendar management, and the ability to coordinate with faculty, staff, external stakeholders, and senior leadership in a hybrid work arrangement between UBC Hospital Site in Vancouver and Gordon & Leslie Diamond Health Care Centre.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum qualifications: High School graduation, plus two year post secondary diploma, plus four years of related experience.
