Executive Assistant to the Vice Chancellor of Development

Job Summary
Process and manage accounts payable transactions, emergency student aid requests, and new fund or scholarship requests. Review donor gifts daily to inform the Systems Office and record contact changes in Salesforce. Coordinate meetings, conferences, and fundraising events including logistics, catering, and travel. Assist with donor recognition, scholarship budgeting, and the creation of personalized donor communications. Schedule newsletters, emails, and e-solicitations while managing the Ivy Tech Foundation shared drive. Support the planning and implementation of alumni engagement programs and the Circle of Ivy annual event.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (or Associate degree combined with years of experience)
- 1-3 years' related work experience
- Must understand fundraising/development work and the role it plays for an organization
- Experience working with Salesforce or other fundraising databases
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
- Ability to work well in a diverse environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Must be a team player
