Job Summary
Executive Assistant to the CEO in Melbourne supports the Office of the CEO and Executive Leadership Team by providing high-level executive support, coordinating Board and governance activities, diary and correspondence management, and preparing reports and briefing materials. The role involves stakeholder engagement, coordinating executive meetings and workshops, driving process improvements across executive support functions, mentoring administrative staff, maintaining confidentiality, and ensuring timely, compliant governance documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Qualifications in Business Management or a related discipline, or equivalent extensive experience in an Executive Assistant role.
- Significant experience providing high-level executive support to senior leaders, CEOs and Board members.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build effective relationships and influence outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing, editing and preparation of executive-level documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, work autonomously and consistently deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.
- Strong understanding of confidentiality, professionalism and corporate governance requirements.
- Experience working in complex organisations with significant stakeholder scrutiny and robust governance frameworks.
- Experience within utilities, energy, infrastructure or large-scale project environments will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor and support administrative or executive support teams.
