Job Summary

Executive Assistant to the CEO in a hybrid role based in Colorado Springs, supporting the CEO, coordinating schedules and communications, managing external donor relations and board materials, coordinating board meetings, handling expense reports, and providing strategic partnership and operational support to advance Axis’s mission.

Required Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field, or proven equivalent experience
  • At least two years of proven experience providing high-level executive support to senior leadership
  • High emotional intelligence and professionalism, with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with tact, composure, and empathy
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills with the ability to anticipate needs and proactively solve problems
  • A high "say to do" ratio, characterized by executing tasks to completion independently with high attention to detail
  • Skilled communicator in written and verbal forms, and comfortable sharing with a group
  • Adaptable problem solver who maintains flexibility and resilience in the face of change and shifting priorities
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to confidently lead laterally and manage up to support executives
  • A strong base understanding of technology and software solutions like Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, Slack, and Monday.com, and the ability to easily learn new technologies independently
  • Experience in a nonprofit, faith-based, or mission-driven organization is strongly preferred
  • Experience with donor CRMs such as Virtuous, Salesforce, or similar is preferred
  • Must fully accept the teachings of the traditional Biblical view as outlined in the Axis Statement of Faith
  • Must be eligible and authorized to work in the United States
