Job Summary
Executive Assistant to the CEO/Executive Director provides strategic coordination and operational leadership for the CEO, managing a complex calendar, coordinating internal/external meetings, drafting communications, supporting board logistics, Cross-functional project support, travel/expense coordination, and office operations. The role requires exceptional organization, discretion, and relationship management in a fast-paced, nonprofit educational setting; the position is full-time with a hybrid schedule (3 days in office, 2 days remote) based at the KIPP Jacksonville Regional Office and serves the shared services team across four schools.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
- 3–5+ years of executive support experience, preferably supporting senior leadership
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- High level of emotional intelligence, professionalism, and discretion
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and urgency
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (including Teams), Google Workspace, and Canva
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated grace-under-fire professionalism with a positive and proactive attitude
- Experience supporting a CEO, Executive Director, or senior executive team
- Familiarity with board governance and nonprofit operations
- Event planning and stakeholder engagement experience
