Job Summary
Executive Assistant to support SVP Corporate Development and VP Strategy and New Business Development in Barcelona. Responsibilities include calendar management, travel planning (domestic and international), coordinating cross-functional meetings, drafting communications, maintaining distribution lists, handling expense reporting, and overseeing day-to-day Barcelona office operations. Must liaise with IT for equipment, support company events and off-sites, and manage vendor relationships. Requires 5+ years supporting executives, strong communication, discretion with confidential information, bilingual English/Spanish, and a Bachelor’s degree (preferred) with proficiency in Microsoft Office; some travel (less than 10%) may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience supporting executive-level, ideally in a public company
- Strong understanding of corporate governance
- Experience managing calendars, coordinating travel, event planning and presentation preparation
- Fluent English and Spanish speaking skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with demonstrated discretion with sensitive information
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with financial platforms a plus
