Job Summary
Executive Assistant to provide administrative, operational, and payroll support to the CEO and executive team at a nonprofit in Orange County. Responsibilities include managing the CEO's calendar, preparing board meeting materials (agendas, minutes, briefing documents), processing bi-weekly payroll via Paylocity, acting as liaison between staff and the fractional CHRO, handling confidential administrative tasks, supporting executive-led projects, and maintaining confidentiality. Requires 3+ years EA experience, Paylocity proficiency or ability to learn, strong written/verbal communication, superb organizational skills, MS Office proficiency, and discretion. Salary $30.00-$33.00/hr with benefits; location: Laguna Woods, CA. Equal Opportunity employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of Executive Assistant experience
- Proficiency in Paylocity or comparable payroll software, or a strong ability to learn
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities with the capacity to handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated business acumen and understanding of organizational operations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a high degree of initiative and independent judgment
- Payroll experience or certification preferred
- Background in the nonprofit sector preferred
- Familiarity with HR systems and practices preferred
- Experience supporting a Board of Directors preferred
