Job Summary
Provide confidential administrative support to the CEO by composing correspondence, managing the calendar, and coordinating Board of Directors meetings including logistics, agenda preparation, and material distribution. Collect information for discussions, manage digital filing systems, and perform project management tasks as assigned. Maintain incoming and outgoing email, prepare reports and spreadsheets, and distribute monthly minutes with zero errors. Communicate on behalf of the CEO internally and externally while interacting positively with staff, Board members, and community leaders. Maintain current official policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- One year to three years of similar or related experience
- A two-year college degree
- Completion of a specialized certification or licensing
- Completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors
- Job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program
- Excellent organization and editing skills
- Excellent proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects
- Good organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good attention to detail
