Job Summary
Executive Assistant I to the Assistant Superintendent: Provide highly responsible, confidential secretarial and administrative support; interpret policies and regulations for officials, staff, and the public; plan, coordinate, and organize office activities and communications for the administrator; supervise and guide assigned personnel; duties include screen and route calls, greet visitors, prepare correspondence, schedule meetings and travel, maintain calendars, draft minutes, compile reports, manage data and records, maintain budgets and expenditures within requirements, prepare and disseminate materials, and develop office procedures to ensure timely operations.
Required Qualifications
- Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school or equivalent supplemented by college level course work in secretarial, business office or related field and four years of increasingly responsible secretarial experience, including experience in an administrative office.
