Job Summary
Manage the CEO's complex calendar, coordinate daily schedules, and resolve conflicts proactively. Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, screening calls and emails while taking accurate messages. Prepare meeting agendas, presentations, and reports using Microsoft Office, and draft professional correspondence. Organize confidential files, review and compare contracts and legal documents, and coordinate meetings with attorneys, vendors, and healthcare partners. Anticipate executive needs, support decision-making through research, and maintain strict confidentiality. This full-time, in-person role supports the Chief Executive of a growing home health organization in Chico, CA. Occasional evening hours and weekend flexibility are required for urgent business needs, with travel to Redding and Sacramento as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of experience supporting senior executives or C-level leadership
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong attention to detail with excellent proofreading skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- In-person Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. reporting to our Chico location
- No remote/hybrid options
- Occasional evening hours
- Flexibility to work weekends
- Occasional travel to our other locations in Redding and Sacramento
- Occasional lifting of files or office materials up to 20 pounds
- Ability to move throughout the office as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the healthcare or home health industry
- Legal assistant, paralegal, contract administration, or other legal background
- Experience reviewing and comparing contracts, vendor agreements, and legal documents
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or a related field
