Job Summary
Manage the Vice President's calendar, meetings, and travel schedules while coordinating video teleconferences, reserving rooms, and facilitating events. Draft high-level correspondence, proofread documents, and compile meeting agendas and materials. Screen calls, capture action items, and prioritize urgent issues for executive attention. Organize strategy sessions, prepare expense reports, and maintain confidential organizational records and files. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including Department of Defense agencies, to support business operations. Work flexible hours, including overtime and outside normal business times, to ensure timely project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- U.S. citizenship
- Minimum of 3 years administrative, business, and/or technical support experience
- Minimum 10 years of Administrative Assistant experience with at least 2 years supporting at the senior level management
- Bachelor's degree in management or business
- 10 years relevant experience
- Current information technology skills and experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong writing and editing skills, vocabulary, and grammar
- Attention to detail and a penchant for producing error-free work
- Professional presence through high-level written and oral communications
- Interpersonal skills and a professional demeanor in interacting with a wide variety of people
- Ability to travel as needed
- Flexibility to work overtime and/or outside of normal business hours
Desired Qualifications
- The best candidates will have a bachelor's degree in management or business and 10 years relevant experience
