Job Summary
Provide comprehensive administrative support to a senior leader within a complex regulatory environment, managing a complex calendar with multiple competing priorities and coordinating high-level meetings with senior officials and external stakeholders. Anticipate the leader's needs to proactively address administrative requirements, draft and edit correspondence and presentations, and prepare briefing materials, agendas, and background documents. Handle sensitive information with discretion, support videoconference logistics, and arrange complex domestic and international travel including itineraries and expense reporting. Process invoices, purchase requests, and support budget tracking activities while tracking action items and deadlines. This contingent contract role requires 7+ years of progressive senior administrative experience, with a preference for experience in the Office of Head Start Central Office or government/financial services environments.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of progressive senior administrative experience
- Experience in the Office of Head Start Central Office
- Minimum of 5 years supporting C-suite or director-level executives
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities in fast-paced, high-stakes settings
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and deadlines
- Ability to remain adaptable and composed in high-pressure environments
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience in government, financial services, or regulatory environments
- Familiarity with federal government operations and protocols
