Executive Assistant and Communications Manager

Job Summary
Develop and implement a communications plan from an equity lens, establishing schedules and platforms for diverse audiences including families, board members, and donors. Manage routine communications such as monthly newsletters, social media, and presentation materials while conducting regular outreach to notify families of school updates. Draft grant applications, reports, and supporting materials for leadership review, and ensure cross-functional initiatives have clear ownership and consistent follow-through. Serve as the primary liaison for parent organizations, coordinating events and the family engagement calendar, and lead special projects like staff onboarding and the school's 10-year gala. Collect community feedback through surveys and focus groups, then share results with staff. Attend OSSE and PCSB meetings on behalf of the Executive Director when conflicts arise, providing timely summaries and action items. This full-time, 12-month position supports the school's 10-year milestone as it refines its brand and deepens strategies for students from Pre-K through grade 6.
