Execution Management & Trading Connectivity Manager

Job Summary

Own the business strategy, roadmap, configuration, and governance of the Execution Management System and execution technology ecosystem. Serve as business owner for EMS, OMS integrations, FIX connectivity, Smart Order Routing, algorithm management, RFQ platforms, broker connectivity, and allocation workflows. Provide execution analytics, broker reviews, and market structure insights to strengthen Best Execution governance. Develop dashboards covering implementation shortfall, arrival slippage, fill quality, and trade completion rates to drive continuous improvement. Configure routing logic, execution destinations, and workflow parameters using transaction cost analysis. Drive a highly automated, touchless operating environment by reducing manual intervention and implementing AI-enabled monitoring. Design resilient processes with comprehensive documentation and no single points of failure. Manage strategic relationships with EMS, OMS, FIX, market data, and broker providers. Collaborate across Trading, Portfolio Management, Engineering, Operations, and Compliance to deliver enterprise outcomes. Accommodate a hybrid work schedule with offices in Charlotte, NC, or Phoenix, AZ.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in trading technology, execution management, institutional trading, product ownership, or capital markets operations
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline
  • CFA or similar industry certification preferred
  • Experience with EMS, OMS, FIX connectivity, Best Execution, TCA, and workflow automation
  • Deep expertise in EMS/OMS architecture, FIX protocol, electronic trading, workflow automation, and execution analytics
  • Experience with Best Execution governance, Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA), execution analytics, and market structure
  • Strong understanding of equities, ETFs, ADRs, and fixed income trading workflows, including settlement processes
  • Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and collaborate across business and technology organizations
  • Proven ability to design highly automated operating models supported by strong controls, documentation, and audit readiness
  • Strategically focused on measurable business outcomes, automation, resilience, and continuous improvement
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US to be considered

  • Must be close to our Charlotte, NC or Phoenix, AZ offices

Desired Qualifications
