Job Summary
Exec, R&D (New Product Technologies) is responsible for planning and executing medium- to long-term research projects, innovating new product/processes with required specifications on a commercial scale, supporting business development in profiling products for relevant markets, and ensuring quality, regulatory and compliance requirements for merchandise/export. Accountabilities include innovating new product/processes, conducting laboratory and pilot-plant development, evaluating process feasibility, optimizing raw materials/additives, creating formulations and prototypes, providing technical support to customers, and managing pilot-plant workflow with SOPs, safety, 5S/QMS (ISO9001, GMP) compliance, and cross-functional coordination with QA/QC, Production, and Commercial teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Food Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related disciplines
- Preferably minimum 3 years working experience in edible oil industry or product development equivalent role in relevant to specialty fat processes handling
- Demonstrate pro-active, creative and agile problem solving skill with strong ability to work independently as well as a team-player
- Demonstrate adaptability and motivation in fast growing environment
- Posseses good interpersonal skills, confident and ability to communicate effectively to internal and external stakeholders. Fluent in English
- Experience in product/process development activities and managing projects with good organizational, time management, research, critical thinking, analytical and planning skills to ensure final product launching with meeting relevant regulation and compliance
