Job Summary
Direct and oversee multiple financial functions, including accounting, financial analysis, audit, tax, credit, and collections. Establish and maintain accounting policies, internal controls for assets and capital investments, and reporting standards compliant with GAAP, FASB, or SEC mandates. Liaise with senior leadership on monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements, interpret key metrics for fiscal stability, and communicate with Operations, Marketing, HR, and IT regarding budget approvals and ROI. Lead and direct senior managers, handling personnel actions such as hiring and performance management with HR concurrence. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance, CPA certification desired, and 12-15 years of experience. Includes up to 25% travel.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree and 12-15 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
- Must have at least one senior manager level direct report
- Is accountable for the performance and results of a major part of the organization (organization function or significant operational segment within a business unit, or an enterprise-wide organization sub-function)
- Develops and executes strategy to achieve key business objectives
- Consistent exercise of discretion & judgment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time
- Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
- Up to 25% travel likely
