Job Summary
Lead Fortune’s after-school Fortune Excursions program, overseeing daily site operations, student safety, and enrichment activities for TK–8 scholars; supervise staff and volunteers, ensure documentation/compliance (staff-to-student ratios, reports), coordinate with school-day staff, collaborate on enrichment design with the Program Specialist, build partnerships with community organizations, coach and develop Excursions Instructors, maintain open communication with families, manage behavior using restorative practices, and support budget and administrative tasks within a mission-driven, collaborative school environment.
Required Qualifications
- Experience supervising or coordinating youth programs in an educational, recreational, or enrichment setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Google Workspace, spreadsheets, and digital attendance systems (e.g., ProCare).
- Ability to build positive relationships with diverse students, families, and staff.
- Commitment to Fortune’s mission, vision, and core values.
- Must pass background and fingerprint clearance through DOJ and FBI.
